Erica aka Ericraft

Hi (waving) My name is Erica and I live in sunny Victoria Australia. Since I was a little girl I was always crafty. My Mum always said you could give Erica a piece of paper and she would draw all over it and never go off the page onto the table. I still love being creative and love drawing, colouring and papercrafting. My weapons of choice are pencils. I love to push the boundaries with stamps and make a card based around it. As you will see from my creations I try and make them blend together as a whole almost making the card part of the image by either giving it a background and/or adding die cuts. Like a piece of art I guess. 

I run a small business from home while juggling family life and fitting in my DT projects. You can find me on Instagram @ericabruton or my blog ericraftblog.blogspot.com for my latest creations.

Gloria aka Purpleglo Creations

I am a wife to a wonderful man.  He has one son and I have two sons and a daughter.  My three children have blessed me with eight grandchildren; and one great grandson (Jan 2014); whom I adore. I am a retired nurse.  I started scrapbooking in July 2011 and Cardmaking Oct 2011.  I joined Close To My Heart as a consultant in March 2012.  I love all my new Internet friends and followers; and I have met a few of them in person; over the past 3 years. I love sharing my creations and I love to see others creations.  I feel very blessed to be chosen to be part of Lil Patch of Crafty Friends DT.  I love being part of a group.  It is very motivating and you learn so much.

Lynnpenguin (Lynn) aka Lynnpenguin's Creative Corner

I am a crafty-creative person who has dabbled in many crafts over the years.  My current passion is card-making and scrap booking.  I found digital images and blogging in 2013 and haven't looked back.  I love all the potential with digital images and especially the freedom to make them any size I want.  I'm working on my colouring techniques with the help of an on-line course and I look forward to working with new images each week.  I love being a part of a few wonderful design teams, and love to participate in weekly card-making challenges.  I'm known as Lynnpenguin in blog-land because I LOVE penguins and have a collection that numbers over 3,000 penguins and even had one beaded and sequined on my wedding dress.  You can see more of my creations on my blog at Lynnpenguin's Creative Corner

Hi , My name is Sherry I live in New Orleans, Louisiana with my Hubby of 8 years, and my 7 Children (Yes 7,*Adopted Bio N Step*)

Dee aka Sprytebyrd's Sentiments

Hi!  I'm Dee Morris aka Sprytebyrd and crafting is my life!  I have dabbled in beadwork, sewing, quilting and knitting, but papercrafts is where my heart is at!  Cutting paper relaxes me and the instant gratification of stamping an image onto paper makes me happy.  I can't draw, therefore, I stamp!  I love ink and paper, but digital stamps have also captured my interest!  I have an addiction to die cuts and have just now realized that I am running out of room to store all of my dies!  Dies with coordinating stamp sets are my weakness right now and I am trying to find a great way to store them all together, so that I can remember to use them.  The biggest problem with my craft room is the "out of sight, out of mind" issue.. if I can't see it, I won't use it!  So, my craft room tends to be messy!  So, a little more about me:  I am married to a wonderfully supportive Hubby, who just smiles and nods when I say I need more supplies!  I have 2 amazing children who keep me on my toes and drive me crazy on a regular basis.  I have 2 rescue dogs, a retired Greyhound and a pampered chihuahua.  I'm a Army Brat, proud to be an American and as Patriotic as they come.  Yours in crafting, Dee xx

"I am an army wife, mom of four (mostly) grown kids, and currently living in Pensacola, FL in the US. I have been stamping for almost 15 years now, but I have been a crafter forever!  I remember making Christmas gifts for my family at a young age and being so excited about doing it all by myself.  Discovering digital stamps and the online crafting world has been an amazing journey!  I am so excited to be joining this team and creating project to inspire you!"

Laurence aka laurence cards memories

Hi, I am a French single mum, with a 20 year old daughter who is studying French literature. I am my "own" boss been so for a few months. I have a newsagent in my local village. I have discovered crafting with an English friend a few years ago, and have never stopped since that day. I mostly make cards, but also do frames (even if I don't have as much time as before now).

La-Vie aka C'est La-Vie Designs Unltd

I began scrapbooking in 2005 when my first child was born premature. I was struck by an urgent need to document her life. I made a special connection with crafting once I realized that I have the ‘artist gene’ passed down by my late father who was a professional painter and artist. He always took lots of pictures of the family and created albums with detailed info on the picture backs – scrapbooking and journaling!

My crafting is truly my heart and soul displayed for all to see. It evokes emotion; sometimes laughter, other times tears. My craft style is clean and simple. I am very adept at making one-of-a-kind cards; however I scrapbook and dabble in home accents as well. One of my specialties is instant scrapbook pages to document a baby's first year. 

I love taking classes and learning new techniques on YouTube. Sharing the information I learn on my blog is key. I like to know that I have helped and/or inspired someone to get creative. My favorite techniques are stamping (physical and digital), masking, using Tim Holtz Distress Ink to create backgrounds, dry and heat embossing, coloring with Copics or Tim Holtz Distress watercolor markers, mosaic layouts, paper piecing with die cuts, using flowers, ribbon, bling or glitter to add that wow factor. In my layouts, the pictures are the star, however I love to set the scene in order for those pictures to shine. 

I became Copic certified in July 2014 to the intermediate level and attended additional workshops this September. I blog and post regularly to Twitter, Facebook (fan page and 20 craft groups), Pinterest (and sometimes Instagram) where I inspire others. In 2011, my passion turned into profit when I opened a small, home-based business, named C’est La-Vie Designs Unlimited, LLC. I love to create unique crafts for clients on an appointment only basis. I do it all for the love of crafting!
